Summary
In this chapter, we have taken a look at a few ways to customize your workflow and your workspace. We first explored the myriad of preferences Affinity Designer has at its disposal, and then we took a deeper dive into its keyboard shortcuts, until finally seeing how to customize its tools and toolbar. I showed you how I set up my UI, with some suggestions on how and why customizing your workspace can be beneficial for a more efficient workflow. Affinity Designer is a pretty impressive package right out of the box, but if you take the time to set it up for a more Personal experience, you will be rewarded with an application that will feel more natural to you.
In the next chapter, we'll cover creating a new document and some of the settings such as document presets, dimensions, resolution, measurement units, color models and profiles, artboards, and document templates.
