Opening and switching between multiple web pages
If you're familiar with using a browser on a desktop or laptop computer, you probably know about tabs. Tabs let you keep multiple web pages open and switch between them whenever you want.
Opening additional web pages
To open additional web pages, follow these steps:
- Tap the Safari app on the Home Screen. The Safari screen appears.
- Tap in the text field at the top of the screen and type a website address, such as
apple.com. A tab bar appears at the bottom of the screen, as shown in Figure 9.9:Figure 9.9 – The show all tabs icon
- Tap the show all tabs icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen. All open web pages appear and a + icon appears at the bottom of the screen, as shown in Figure 9.10:
