Blocking out disturbances
No matter how much you may love your iPhone and your friends, you may need to focus on a task and you don't want your iPhone to keep beeping or making noises while you're trying to get something done. One simple solution is to turn your iPhone off completely or leave it in another room so that you can't hear it.
Yet a simpler solution is to use the iPhone's Do Not Disturb features to temporarily quiet your iPhone. The iPhone gives you two options for blocking out disturbances through the Do Not Disturb feature:
- Manually turning Do Not Disturb on and off.
- Automatically turn Do Not Disturb on and off at a specific time every day.
