Introduction

This chapter will cover chart creation in Tableau Desktop. The first section will include the different types of charts available and how to create them. How to conduct spatial analysis with geographic charts will then be covered, followed by the advanced analytical capabilities available in Tableau when building a chart.

The primary function of Tableau is to help analyze data and, to do this, charts can be built to visualize the data. Decisions can be made with the insights provided.
