Tyler: Hey Zachary and Arnaud! First, do you each want to tell everyone a bit about yourself?

Zachary: As you mentioned, I’m Zachary Blackwood. I started off as a teacher and then when that wouldn’t pay the bills, I switched to web development and then got sucked into the data team there because they were using Python, and that sounded like fun.

I was with a little AG tech startup that got acquired by a larger organization, where I learned a lot about infrastructure and data engineering. While I was there, I built various dashboards for the data science team, and we tried out several different frameworks. A friend of mine showed me Streamlit, and this may be me getting ahead of myself, but I loved it.

Later, the same friend told me that he had a friend who worked at Streamlit and was looking for a data engineer. I immediately applied, and here I am! Now, I work on the data team at Streamlit.
