To get this information, we can run the count(//book) XPath function. We will also need a variable to assign the results of our function. All the results that are returned from an XPath function are saved as a string. In this walk-through, you will learn how easy it is to run XPath functions using Automation Anywhere.

Let's start this walk-through by executing the following steps:

  1. To save the results of our XPath function, create a String type variable called sBookCount.
