Summary
In this chapter, we focused on two distinct areas that we looked at in detail. You now know how to edit in RAW with Affinity Photo, along with why and how RAW works and what it is trying to do. By far, though, the work we did with the Tone Mapping persona as a creative tool was my favorite. The wild colors, the pushing of boundaries and limits, and the subtle dance of blend mode, opacity, and masking can make your image impossible to replicate and give you that signature style (if you haven’t figured it out by now, mine is more extreme contrast and vivid colors).
With that, we have come to the last chapter in our beginner’s journey, which involved exporting and then rounding home with some artistic techniques to get you out of the beginner stage and get you working like a professional.
