Reusing PowerPoint material – method 2

PDF is a format that works really well in Prezi, but there are many other options. Image formats such as .png and .jpg also look great on the Prezi canvas.

In this section, we will show you how easy it is to save your slides in .jpg or .png format. The images will then be available for your Prezi presentation by navigating to Insert | Image.

The main difference between the first method and the second method is that with the first method, you can import only the complete deck of slides from your PowerPoint presentation, whereas in the second method, you have the option of importing individual slides.

Getting ready

1. Open PowerPoint and open the PowerPoint file that you want in your prezi.
2. In PowerPoint, navigate to Choose File | Save as.
3. Choose an image file format such as .png or .jpg.
4. Name and save the image file.
