Technical Requirements

In this chapter, you will need access to the Microsoft Teams admin center, which can be reached at https://admin.teams.microsoft.com. You must be either a Global Administrator or a Teams Service Administrator to have full access to the features and capabilities within the Teams admin center.

To align with the latest licensing requirements, for most of this chapter, you will need either a Microsoft Teams Phone Standard license or a combination of licenses to enable necessary functionalities. Users must be licensed with Teams Phone licenses if they are not included in your current subscription stack. Specifically, to support Teams Phone features, you will need the Teams Phone Standard license for cloud-based call management, Audio Conferencing licenses for dial-in and dial-out capabilities, and Microsoft Teams Calling Plans for PSTN connectivity.
