Summary
In this chapter, we learned two different ways of deploying custom Visio templates that contain validation rules. The first simple method does not require any extra tools besides Visio, but is more difficult to control. The second is more complex and requires additional skills and applications, but is more suitable for large-scale deployment and centralized control.
In the next and final chapter, we will walk through the creation and deployment of a new rule set for Data Flow Model Diagrams. We will convert some plain English rules into ones that Visio can understand, in order to ensure that well-constructed diagrams are created.
