Technical requirements
WooCommerce handles many responsibilities for store owners. However, WooCommerce can’t ship your packages. To do that, we’ll install a few plugins that connect our store to services to help us ship our products and review sales information:
- Earlier in this book, we installed WooCommerce Shipping & Tax (https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-shipping-and-tax/). We’re going to fulfill some orders in this chapter, so, you’ll need that installed.
- You’ll also need Jetpack (https://wordpress.org/plugins/jetpack/) installed since it’s a requirement for WooCommerce Shipping & Tax.
- Near the end of this chapter, we’re going to look into some third-party tools including Metorik (https://metorik.com/), which has excellent reporting for online stores. They have a free trial, so you can install and sign up for the service.
