Rockwell has worked closely with Cisco and Panduit to develop Converged Plantwide Ethernet (CPwE) architectures. These CPwEs are reference architectures and implementation guides that have been developed and tested by the expertise of Rockwell Automation, Panduit, and Cisco. Rockwell has also created a customized version of Cisco-managed switches and industrial firewalls under the Rockwell Stratix product line. The Stratix brand is designed to integrate with Rockwell products and protocols.
Rockwell has worked to create a graphical user interface (GUI) for the majority of the common configuration settings required for Stratix switches and firewalls.
