Summary

In this chapter, we learned about a reference architecture for building serverless web apps in the AWS environment. We also looked at two reference architectures for web apps: one was focused on searching for hotels, while the other was focused on adding a hotel to a cart. Also, for both use cases, we looked at the architecture diagram, along with the AWS SAM templates.

In the next chapter, we will look into a reference architecture for a file processing serverless app.
