This chapter was short and easy. We saw how NAT works, and how to configure static NAT, dynamic NAT, and NAT overload, or PAT. We also learned some terminology, so if someone asked, you would know what the inside local address and the inside global addresses are. We also verified that NAT was working using the show ip nat translation command or debug ip nat.
You now can configure NAT and troubleshoot without an issue. Time to move to Chapter 19, Wide Area Networks, looking at WAN and all its wonders.
