Conventions used
There are a number of text conventions used throughout this book.
Code in text
: Indicates code words in text, database table names, folder names, filenames, file extensions, pathnames, dummy URLs, user input, and Twitter handles. Here is an example: “The client stores the connection configuration for each available resource in a set of .
rdp
files.”
A block of code is set as follows:
#include <iostream> #include <cpprest/http_listener.h> #include <cpprest/json.h> using namespace web; using namespace web::http; using namespace web::http::experimental::listener; const utility::string_t base_url = U("http://localhost:8080");
Bold: Indicates a new term, an important word, or words that you see onscreen. For instance, words in menus or dialog boxes appear in bold. Here is an example: “You will then see the Sign in to your account popup.”
