Advanced corridor modeling techniques and workflows
We covered quite a bit of basic and some advanced corridor modeling techniques and workflows in our previous book, Autodesk Civil 3D 2024 From Start to Finish. As we develop our careers as civil designers, we’ll realize at some point that these techniques and workflows aren’t a one-size-fits-all type of design scenario.
There will be times throughout our careers when lane transitions will be required to be designed. In most cases, this will be quickly realized if our design focus is mostly on projects supporting transportation. Frequently, there is a need to understand lane transitions when designing residential subdivisions along with commercial-based designs.
