In this chapter, we saw how Ansible can be used to run quick and simple commands. We then looked at how Ansible manages its host inventory, which helped us to understand its playbook scripting. We discovered how playbooks are structured and how they are used to orchestrate tasks. In the next chapter, we will discover Ansible Modules and learn how they are important out of all the tasks that are executed within a playbook. We will look at both Linux and Windows system modules, some network devices, and various visualization and cloud managers.
