Working with ranges

Ranges are a very common method for reducing and organizing data when you have a certain value for a group determined by some STARTING and ENDING attributes. For example, zip code ranges and cities, purchase amounts, customer categories, and so on.

In this recipe, we’ll go through the process of classifying people by their ages using an age range dictionary with categories.

So basically, we have the following:
