Summary

In this chapter, we've taken our first steps into the configuration of Windows Terminal. We discussed the settings.json file, which gives us the ability to customize, version control, and share our Windows Terminal configuration.

We've explored the first part of the settings.json file, covering the global settings and the per-profile settings. If editing JSON was too painful, no fear: many of these settings are available in the settings UI as well.
