Deploying virtual machines across data centers

vCenter allows the administrator to provision virtual machines across the virtual data centers that are managed by the same vCenter Server instance. Virtual machine deployment is allowed across data centers. The administrator can:

• Clone a virtual machine from one virtual data center to another virtual data center
• Create a template in one data center, deploy a virtual machine from that template, and place the virtual machine in another virtual data center
