Summary
In this chapter, we looked at Views and Reports in depth. We started with understanding what Views are, and how to construct them. We built example List, Trend, and Distribution Views. We then looked at how you manage your Views, and use them in Dashboards.
Next we looked at the reporting capability of vRealize Operations. We looked at how you can generate, and schedule generation of Reports using the built-in Report Templates. We then examined how you can take the Views you created to build your own Report Templates.
In the next chapter, we are going to look at how Symptoms, Recommendations, and Actions are the building blocks of the Alerting capabilities in vRealize Operations.
