The ssdef Table
Once the standard format for the spreadsheet is determined, the standard format is defined to a database known as the “ssdef” database. The ssdef database is a system database used in the processing of spreadsheets in the transformation into corporate data. The ssdef database doesn’t have much use outside of this process.
The ssdef database is the library of spreadsheet heading definitions that will be transformed into corporate data. The ssdef database is created by stripping off the heading columns of the standard spreadsheet and placing the column headings into the sdef database.
