Adding additional details to drawings
Typically, when crafting an RCP, we would include dimensions for lighting, details on each fixture, and ceiling height indicators, among other things. However, this chapter will not cover these aspects, as it is already quite extensive. Instead, we’ll point out some areas for further independent exploration, mainly focusing on expanding knowledge about Scrapbooks, creating tables, clipping masks, and inserting content.
First, however, we want to show you a workaround for hyperlinks.
Adding a hyperlink
The preceding lead-in was a bit misleading. You can add a hyperlink to LayOut, but only by copying the URL and pasting it to LayOut. Currently, there is no way for Windows users to right-click on a set of text and add a hyperlink to it, or a hyperlink to an object (such as an image).
The copy-and-paste approach is acceptable if you want to show the hyperlink text. In Figure 13.73, we see two examples of hyperlinks in a LayOut PDF...
