Manufacturing the models
Now that we’ve created our designs in Tinkercad and prepared them with the specific settings for our printer in CAM, we can move into manufacturing our models using our 3D printers! Setting up the material and starting the prints will vary a bit from printer to printer, but then the next step is to print your designs. Figure 15.34 shows the printing of the base part using a FFF type 3D printer and Black Metallic Silk PLA:

Once the prints finish (or arrive if you’ve utilized a printing service), we can move into post-production and assembly. Any supports will need to be carefully removed first.
