Keeping your door locked can be important. I recall an incident once, having just moved into an apartment, where I forgot to do so, and my next-door neighbor absent-mindedly walked right into my entrance and had almost made his way into my living room before realizing where he was. I was so taken aback just watching him that I didn’t say a word, but it gave me and my family quite a fright. From that point on, I always had a conscious thought of locking the door whenever I came home.
With our sites, lists, and libraries, it can be more than just an awkward moment if the wrong people get access to the wrong data. Making sure that the right people have access to the right content is critical to keeping trust in the tools and in one another.
