Forms customization with Power Apps
Power Apps is a tool that can be used to customize the UI for SharePoint list forms, in a similar way that first-party tools such as InfoPath, or third-party tools such as Nintex Forms may have done with classic SharePoint. It’s important to keep in mind that Power Apps is not just a way to extend SharePoint, but so much more as well. Power Apps is essentially a low-code developer tool to create the frontend of an application that can run through the web, in Microsoft Teams, or on mobile devices. Power Apps supports connectors in the same way that Power Automate does, so it can connect to SharePoint along with hundreds of other sources, tools, and apps.
