Dealing with YAML configuration problems

One of the most simple, but extremely important entities, which cause problems in Salt configurations is the YAML format, which has to be consistently maintained in all Salt configurations. In this chapter, you will learn about the most common mistakes and how to avoid them.

How to do it...

  1. Run a misconfigured state file against a minion:
