Working with pyFirmata methods


The pyFirmata package provides useful methods to bridge the gap between Python and Arduino's Firmata protocol. Although these methods are described with specific examples, you can use them in various different ways. This section also provides a detailed description of a few additional methods that were not used in the previous project and lists the missing features.

Setting up the Arduino board

To set up your Arduino board in a Python program using pyFirmata, you need to specifically follow the steps that we have covered. We have distributed the entire code that is required for the setup process into small code snippets in each step.
