Publishing the inventory dashboard


There are different ways to get QlikSense application published to other users. However, depending on the functionality and interactivity required, some methods may be more appropriate than others.

Exporting to a PDF

The quickest and easiest option is to export a document to a PDF, which can be quickly viewed on almost any device. However, the downside to exporting an application to a PDF is that you no longer have access to any interactivity between the different components or even the ability to make a simple selection.

For example, if a user was interested in looking at Paint Shop supplies that required an order, we would need to make that selection beforehand. Once the selection was made, we would then click on the Menu icon and select Export sheet to PDF, as seen in the following screenshot:

We then have the ability to select the Paper size, Resolution (dots per insch), and Orientation as seen in the following screenshot:

Once we've selected the PDF...
