Creating an ASO Cube Schema and an Essbase Model

In this recipe, we will create a Cube Schema and an Essbase Model for the ASOsamp application. This process is similar to the one we discussed in the recipe Developing Cube Schema and Essbase Model in Chapter 3; but it is not the same. Our Time and Year dimensions are not being generated via a Calendar Hierarchy and as such we don't have to worry about Key Bindings. In addition, when you are building an ASO model's Cube Schema, the order that you choose the hierarchies is only important for display purposes and should not impact performance, as the concepts of dense and sparse are not relevant to the ASO model. You will recall that in a Block Storage application, we need to build the cube in an hour glass shape with a larger dense dimension on top and the largest sparse dimension on the button. This best practice does not apply to ASO.
