Create an application level computation


Application level computations are part of the Shared Components module under the Logic section. Unlike the page level computation wizard, the Application Computation wizard includes a single page. The following is a screenshot of the top of this page:

Most of the fields here are identical to the page computation, so we shall just explore the differences.

Computation item

This mandatory LOV field allows us to choose from all the items in the application application and page level alike.

Frequency

This section includes the Computation Point for the application computation. These computation points are the same as the page level computation. However the frequency of running differs between page level and application level computations.

Except for the first option, On New Instance (e.g. On Login), an application level computation will be fired on every page of the application according to the computation point. For the first option, the computation will...
