Create new button(s)

The Page Definition page includes a Buttons section in the Page Rendering column, as shown in the following screenshot:

Clicking on the Create icon in the upper-right-hand corner of the Buttons section will load the Create Button wizard, which can be seen in the next screenshot:

As every button must be associated with a specific region on the page, the first thing we'll be asked to do is to choose a page region to render the button. In our example, the regions list includes four regions three on the current working page and one on page 0 (I remind you that components on page 0, like page regions, appear on every application page and as such are included in the list of the page regions). The list also includes general information on the layout of the regions on the page. The first number, at the end of the region name, appears in parentheses and indicates the region column.
