Implementation use case
As described in the previous chapter (Chapter 2, Implementation Case Study), WBCV Telecom has embarked on a digital transformation journey to become more disruptive in the use of their products and services, to be more agile and to deliver a much richer and tailored customer experience across a number of diverse channels. In order to achieve these ambitious goals, the organization's CIO, having already acknowledged the need for a robust API Management solution to enable the digitalization of their business, sponsored an Enterprise Architecture (EA) initiative aimed at delivering an API Management strategy and subsequent implementation of an API Management solution (refer to the Recommendations section of Chapter 2, Implementation Case Study, for details the solution recommended).
