There are other tools worth mentioning besides the out-of-the-box export and import tools and the Vlocity Build tool. So, let’s review them here in case you might like to explore them further.

Salesforce Vlocity Integration VS Code extension

This free VS Code extension (built by curlybracket-nl) is a useful GUI for the Vlocity Build tool (https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=curlybracket.vlocode). Once installed, it allows you to browse OmniStudio components and extract them with one click. So, you don’t have to create or update a YAML file and type commands.

To add it to your VS Code, just search for Vlocity in Visual Studio Marketplace and install the extension (see Figure 5.34):
