Summary
We've learned a lot in this chapter:
How to draw features based on GPS traces
How to tag them and how to find which tags to use:
Tagging presets in the editors
Documented tags in the wiki
How to find tags that mappers have used, but not documented
Although we've used the most popular editing applications, others do exist, but the mapping techniques we've seen will apply to all OpenStreetMap editors to a large extent. They're the techniques and tools you'll use in whichever editor you use—even the ones that haven't been developed yet—and the methods won't change even if the precise tags used for any type of feature change.
