Summary
We've seen how to detect, describe, and match different features using both the native and Java wrappers. Additionally, we have seen two applications of image features—one where you can use them to find an object in a scene and the other to stitch two images together in order to build a panorama.
In the next chapter, we will shift gears and touch on the topic of machine learning and how we can use learning algorithms to detect hand gestures, which we can use to build an automatic selfie application.
