Here's an example. Imagine that your students have been having problems with the pronunciation of words that come from French and you want to provide them with a few guidelines and examples. This is the sort of instruction you might include:

There are lots of French words used in English every day. Some of them are so common we don't even realize they're French. Occasionally, we need to make them sound a bit more French. Here are some words that came up last week. One word was 'debut'. Don't forget:

You shouldn't pronounce the 't' at the end. Try saying it: 'debut'… 'debut'. Another word that came up was 'chauffeur'. That's not a 'ch' sound as in 'church' but a 'sh' sound as in 'shower'. Try saying it: 'chauffeur'. Notice that the stress is on the second syllable 'eur' 'chauffeur'. Etc.
