Assessing language — working through an example
It's often easier to learn by doing. It's a good idea to work through one of the several examples using Quiz in this book before you go on with the rest of the chapter. Here are some possibilities:

There are also several practice activities, like Chapter 5, Grammar Activities, Activity 2, which use the Lesson module and which could easily be converted into tests by selecting No in the Practice lesson option on the set-up page, which you can see in the screenshot that follows. You should also check the Flow control settings to make sure they are appropriate.
