Case study analysis

In this case study analysis, the main challenges raised by the fictitious company, High Tech Rapid Solutions Corp, were siloed architecture and lack of visibility of the environment. Some challenges and concerns were raised by the current security team, which are summarized in the following list:

  • The existing security team is struggling to adopt new technologies and there is a skill gap.
  • There are limited funds available (reduced costs) and at the same time, the security posture should be developed further.
  • The SOC team doesn’t have active security monitoring or posture management solutions for on-premises and at the same time, they have limited visibility of the environment.
