Introduction

The previous chapter reviewed best practices for configuring System Center Operations Manager (SCOM). The recipes in this chapter will take those concepts a step further by exploring best-practice recommendations for performing initial tuning as part of SCOM deployment as well as for working with monitors and rules, configuring self-tuning thresholds and baselines, and automating administration and configuration tasks in SCOM with PowerShell.
