Adding a new page to a Team Site
SharePoint 2010 makes it very easy to add new pages to your Team Site. This recipe shows you how to do so.
Getting ready
This recipe works for:
SharePoint 2010 Foundation
SharePoint 2010 Standard Edition
SharePoint 2010 Enterprise Edition
Office 365 (SharePoint Online)
You will need the Designer or Full Control permission level to run this recipe.
How to do it...
Open the SharePoint Team Site where you want to add a new page.
Open the Site Actions menu and select the New Page option.
The New Page dialog box is displayed. Enter the name demopage for the page and click on the Create button.
The new page is created. You can start entering text immediately by typing directly into the page. Click on Save & Close when you are done. Your new page will be displayed on the Team Site.
