A reading list (book reports)
Book reports and reading lists are something every student is familiar with. They can provide good information regarding a particular student's reading interests and ability. Book reports written as reviews can help students develop an understanding of good writing as well. In this recipe, students will use plans to create a place where they can record and review the books that they read.
When added to a page, the list will appear in a collapsed format, as shown in the following screenshot:
When a title is clicked, however, the block will expand revealing the student's review of the book, as shown in the following screenshot:
How to do it...
Written for the student:
1. On the Content tab click plans and then the button labeled New plan.
2. In the Title field type something similar to
My 5th Grade Reading List
.3. A Description is not necessary, but you can add one if you like.
4. Click the button Save plan.
