Time for action – enable notification for account creation


  1. Log in to Liferay using admin credentials.

  2. Navigate to the Control Panel by clicking on Manage | Control Panel from the dock bar.

  3. Click on Portal Settings, available in the Portal section on the left-hand side, and click on Email Notifications on the right-hand side, which would bring up the following screenshot:

  4. You will see that the first tab Sender is selected by default. This screen is meant for specifying the name and e-mail address of the sender. Change the name to Cignex Neighborhood Admin and the e-mail address to neighbourhood_admin@cignex.com, and click on Save.

  5. Click on the Account Created Notification tab, which will bring up the following screenshot:
