Enterprise-level resourcing concepts
What is the meaning of the term enterprise level? To begin with, we know that it implicitly means complex management at an organizational level (or even at a departmental level).
From a Project perspective, there are a few immediate implications:
- Projects: The focus shifts from the nitty-gritty of an individual project to a portfolio of related projects.
- Resources: Concerning the usage and optimization of resources across projects, demand is evaluated and fulfilled across a portfolio of projects, or across the whole organization.
- Administration: Instead of the Project Manager creating resources for the project, administrators manage entities across the board.
