How is AI Builder licensed?
The thing to remember about AI Builder is that it is a bolt-on to the standard Power Platform offering – your standard Power Apps or Power Automate licenses – or your Dynamics 365 licensing. AI Builder is licensed through capacity add-ons. What this means is that you purchase credits on a monthly basis, and then assign them to a Power Platform environment. Once the capacity has been assigned, it becomes available for apps and flows in which you want to use AI Builder. Some of the premium-level licenses also include AI Builder credits, such as the Power Apps per - user or Power Automate with RPA plans, so it is always worth checking to see what you already have available before you start purchasing.
