Adding a search request view
One of the customizable features in JIRA is its Issue Navigator. It lets us search based on numerous criteria, choose the fields that need to be shown, in a way we want to see them!
The normal or the default view in the issue navigator is the tabular view to display the issues and the fields we have chosen by configuring the issue navigator. JIRA also gives us a few other options to see the search results in different formats, to export them into Excel, Word, or XML, and so on with the help of the pre-defined search request views.
In this recipe, we will see how we can add more search views in to JIRA that enables us to see the search results in a format we like. To achieve this we need to use the Search Request View Plugin module.
