Summary

In this chapter, we discussed the IDP pipeline, and how this can apply to the mortgage application processing use case in the financial industry. We discussed mortgage processing in detail, and also showed how legacy manual document processing is challenging the document processing. We can leverage AWS AI services to automate these document processing use cases.

We then dove deep into the mortgage application processing use case. We also discussed how to automate the extraction and enrichment process of mortgage application processing for loan documents and their supporting documents with AWS AI services. We also showed how we can define business rules and check the validity of our loan application.
