Preparing the infrastructure for a Horizon Unified Access Gateway

The installation and configuration process for the Horizon Unified Access Gateway requires quite a lot of preparation. This section will outline what is required prior to beginning the installation.

Installation prerequisites

There are a number of prerequisites that should be addressed prior to installing a Horizon Unified Access Gateway:

• Sufficient vSphere resources for each appliance, which includes 2.6 GB (thin provisioned) or 20 GB (thick provisioned) of disk space, and one, two, or three network interfaces:
  • The standard configuration of the appliance that supports up to 2,000 connections requires 2 vCPUs and 4 GB RAM.
