VMware Virtual SAN configuration overview
In this section, we will review the procedure used to enable VMware VSAN.
Tip
This procedure is only required if you are deploying VSAN on existing server hardware; products such as VxRail are shipped with VSAN already enabled.
To ensure that the VSAN configuration is supported by VMware, it must either be built using hardware that is validated by VMware or selected from a list of validated VMware Virtual San Ready Nodes.
