In the previous chapter, we introduced FlixOne and the initial development of a new inventory management application. Several patterns were used by the development team, ranging from patterns designed to limit the scope of a deliverable such as a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to patterns to assist in the development of the project such as Test Driven Development (TDD). Several patterns from the Gang of Four (GoF) were also applied as a solution to leverage how others have solved similar problems in the past so that we don't repeat common mistakes.
